Last Day of Ministry

Hi Everyone,
I didn't post with the kids last night because I wanted to let them all get their turn and I am old and went to do my journal and go to bed!! I wanted to let you hear from the "mama" of the group. I know that is my role here. All of you would be so blessed to see how your kids are following Gods leading and giving so tirelessly of themselves. They are bold and go without fear into all situations. That being said, we as sponsors are watching over them closely and making sure they are wise. They are truly doing great, a few tummy aches, but regardless of sometimes not feeling up to task they jump in head first and die to self and serve without a thought for their needs. The sponsors are great. They are the most generous and selfless group of people I have ever seen. Thanks for all the prayers and love. If you haven't sent your loved one a post please do so. We also eagerly look at these each day and each of us waits to see if someone we know has sent us one. Love you all,
Jamie
Steve,
Sara, Will and I love you so much and miss you. Cannot wait to see you Monday,
Love you all,
Jamie

I love you both and proud doesn't begin to express how I feel. You have both grown into such wonderful and caring women. And yes I have to acknowledge "women" and not little girls any longer. What a heart God has blesseed you with. Thankyou for following HIS calling. I can't wait to hear all you have experienced and seen, of course we may have to develope a flag system for who gets to talk when. I also want to tell the rest of the team how I've missed seeing them and how proud I am of them also. I feel like God has blessed me with so many kids to love even though I only parent three. I want to hear from you all when you get home. Know that you are all loved. Steve, A special blessing on you for the love you have for your Savior and the love you have always expressed for our children. Thank you for the many years of spiritual leadership you have devoted to our children. This victory of wonderful and God lead children does not only belong to the parents but to you as well and in my case I sometimes wonder if not totally you and God. Thank you. I love all of you guys and can't wait for that plane to land in Tulsa.

No surprise that you haven't written on it yet. We are all at grandmother and granddads house watching madeline play basketball! We all are missing you and are wishing you were here, but thrilled that you are there doing the work of God! Can't wait to hear all your stories! Missing you! I love you so much!

We so love reading this blog & knowing how God is using you each day! We are so proud of each of you for serving as you have: for giving up the luxuries of life and your summer to share Christ in Ghana! I know your lives are changed forever because you were obedient and most importantly, MANY lives will be changed for eternity! (Greg, praying special prayers for you... Can't wait to get you home to Laura and the boys! Be safe...) See you soon! With much love...

I cannot tell you how much I love you guys and am so encouraged by your work. They had been praying for a soccer ball for five years and God sent some kids from oklahoma to bring it! Ahh that is such a beautiful picture.. thank you for allowing God to use you.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
"With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of His calling, and that by His power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. We pray that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Beth, Allie, and Rachel,

Girls, I remember Focus Weekend 2 years ago, the last time I was your group leader...there was one afternoon that each of you shared your hearts for Africa and your overwhelming desire to go there...since that day I have prayed for you when it comes to mind and that God would someday use you there...and I'm amazed at the opportunity you've had this past week! He is so faithful to His servants and I'm sure the three of you have been His light to the world this week!!
Karol, I'm so excited for you as well...I hope you have seen God work this week and that it's been an unbelievable journey...
LOVE YOU GIRLS!!!!!

In His love....Karen Workun <><
