Evening Greetings from Ghana!

Dancing and singing into the night, we wrapped up our Tuesday. Excellent skits and song with a differnet worship experience will be etched in our memories forever. These people love the Lord and are so passionate about their forgiveness and new life in Christ, that it really helps adjust our perspective. Tomorrow our group splits into two sections, a small construction section will stay with me, and the others will head to the "bush." I fully expect more stories and growth experiences! I will post again tomorrow night hopefully with a report that the new children's building is complete! We will post again Friday night as we will all be in the "bush" Thursday night. Please continue to pray for strength and influence in these communities. We love you all. Greg Grunewald-offical two day blog updater!

Blog update with Jason and Steve...

Madeline: yes we did receive the soccer balls! They came in the mail TODAY! we handed four out tonight and will hand out the rest in the villages tomorrow and Thursday. You are very sweet to think of us and the children here!

We love you all. Thank you for your prayers. They truly hold us up. We feel them every moment. We will be "dark" the next 2 days, so Blogger Greg will keep you updated on his end. Pray for him and Will M and Jeff and Shaun as they labor. It is very difficult work. They will join us Thursday at Village 2 (quarshie)

And of course, our love to Courtney, Molly, Jaxon and Grant respectively!

p.s. we have some really creative new ideas for worship

Oh my gosh...I am sitting here smiling and crying at the same time! What wonderful Godly work and blessings you all are providing to the Ghana people. We are all praying for your strength, health, perserverance, peace, joy and love.

Thank you for being ambassadors of God's love -- 2 Corinthians 5:14-17
"For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

P.S. I love you and miss you Amanda...Pookie & Buster are ready for you to be home. XOXOXOOXOXXXO

Hi Gregor! I am reading this blog multiple times a day..so it was good to see you were the author! The boys are doing well, they miss you! I have been praying for you and know you are working hard...you always do! We know you are a part of some awesome work and can't wait to hear all that you are doing. But, we do miss you and can't wait to see you again. Pray for Molly & Blake, baby "Sadie" was born today, but the birthmom chose not to have Molly & Blake parent. They are ok because they KNOW God has a plan...but pray for God to continue to give them wisdom, strength and courage too! We love you sweetie!

We, too, have been checking the blog every second that we can! It is so wonderful to hear all that is happening! We cannot wait to see pictures and hear the complete story.

I Thessalonians 1:2-3
"We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ."

P.S. Will, we miss you and are so proud of you. Sounds like you have been "Laboring in love!" All is well here! Have fun in the "bush."

Love you,
Julie Mortensen (Mom)

It is so awesome to hear about what God is doing. We continue to pray that God will use you in mighty ways. "...for the faith of God's elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness- a faith and knowlege resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and at his appointed season He brought His Word to light through the preaching entrusted to 'you' by the command of God our Savior." Titus 1:1-3 Praise God!!You are bringing His Word to light for many.
Love,
The Vincents

Devotional thoughts from
Streams In The Desert

Hebrews 11:8

It is by no means enough to set out cheerfully with your God on any venture of faith. Tear into smallest pieces any itinerary for the journey which your imagination may have drawn up. Nothing will fall out as you expect. Your guide will keep to no beaten path. He will lead you by a way such as you never dreamed your eyes would look upon. He knows no fear, and he expects you to fear nothing while He is with you.

God bless you all...He is with you!
